Arrests
09/19/17 Henry A. Ordonez, age 23, of Newburgh, NY was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
09/29/17 Timmarley N. Williams, age 34, of Peekskill, NY was arrested and charged with suspended registration.
10/07/17 A 22 yr old from New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
Incidents
Police issue approximately 27 warnings and 29 summonses to drivers including summonses for parking at the riverfront without a permit.
09/11/17 A subject told Police that they would have to keep their jet ski at the dock overnight because it broke down and would come and collect it in the morning.
09/11/17 A caller reported possible child abuse. Police responded, found no evidence of abuse and it was stated that their 4 year old child had his device taken away from him and did not want to go to bed.
09/13/17 A driver was issued 2 summonses for disobeying a traffic control device and speed not reasonable after he attempted to pass a crossing guard stopping traffic.
09/14/17 Police assist Town Police with a rollover accident Rt 9W NB.
09/14/17 Police and Kurt Hahn respond to Rt 9W for a pick up with trailer blocking left lane and road slick with brake fluid.
09/20/17 A person turned in a found credit card and Police returned the card to its owner.
09/22/17 Police assist Town Police with a rollover accident on Rt 9W southbound past the overlook.
09/23/17 Police take a report that an 8’ boat was either taken or floated away from shore line.
09/24/17 A person dropped off a found bank card, owner contacted and came in to station and picked it up.
09/24/17 Police assist a driver on Churchill St with a vehicle lockout.
09/26/17 Police take a report of larceny from a residence on Vinebrook Ave. No further information in Police report.
09/27/17 A caller reported that an American flag was hanging low on a pole on Hudson St. Police removed the flag and transported it to headquarters for safekeeping.
09/28/17 Police take a report of a 2 car accident on Maple Rd with no injuries.
09/28/17 A person came in to headquarters to have his photo taken for the
sex offender registration.
09/29/17 Police assist on Rt 32 with a 2 car accident with injuries.
09/30/17 Police assist with traffic control during debris removal on Route 9W north at the bottom of Storm King Mountain.
10/01/17 Police assist Town of Highlands with a motorcycle accident, unknown injuries.
10/01/17 Police respond to Academy and Hudson St for a minor vehicle accident no injuries.
10/03/17 Police remove rocks from a rock slide onto the roadway on Dock Hill Rd.
10/03/17 Police assist State Police with a motorcycle accident on Rt 9W.
10/04/17 A caller reported a short haired solid gray cat named Charlie was missing and he is offering $100 for his safe return. Charlie was last seen in Avenue A.
10/08/17 A complainant reported that she received an earring back from a jeweler that had a different pearl than the one she dropped off to them.
