1. Why are you running for a position as library trustee?
I am running for Library Trustee because I decided to give back to the community that has done so much for my family and I over the years. The Cornwall Library's staff, members, volunteers, programs, and avenues of knowledge are the best that I have had the chance to experience. It will be an honor to be a part of such a terrific organization.
2. Why do you think that you can make a difference in the library's future?
I think that my experience in budgeting and supervisory skills will be a good asset to the Cornwall Library.
3. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Well, my name is James Horne, I am happily married to the most beautiful woman in the world. We have two of the sweetest pit bulls and a macaw. I have been working at the sanitation department of the Village of Cornwall D.P.W for five years. Prior to that, I was a manager for two years at one company and a supervisor for 12 years at another. I am the owner of A Shady Affair- Party Tent Rentals. I'm in multiple softball leagues and a bowling league. I love all outdoor activities. I would be grateful to be elected to the Cornwall Library Board of Trustees.
