Oscar Talk with Barbara DeFina at the Grail February 10
The Cornwall Grail Center invites the public to Oscar Talk with Barbara DeFina on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, from 7 to 9 pm at the Grail’s Phoenix House, 119 Duncan Avenue, Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.
Barbara DeFina, a Cornwall-on-Hudson resident, is a Producer/Executive Producer of Hugo, Goodfellas, Casino, Cape Fear, You Can Count on Me, Kundun, The Grifters, plus many other commercial and independent films.
As a voting member of the Academy of Motion Pictures, Ms. DeFina brings an insider’s knowledge of how films get made and what films get nominated in Hollywood. In this discussion, she will share her perspective on this year’s nominees and the issue of diversity in movie production in the U.S.
